Dedicated to the memory of Suresh

This site is a tribute to Sureshbhai Kantilal Patel of Wednesbury 1961-2021. He was born to parents Kanjibhai Ravjibhai Patel and Maniben Kantilal Patel, on Friday 20th October 1961, in Samapur, India.

Suresh was a loving and devoted husband to Kamalaben Suresh Patel and an incredible father to Venita and Ketan. Suresh and Kamu began their journey on Saturday 1st August 1987 when they declared their love for each other and said, “I do”. A year later they both welcomed their first born, Venita, and 5 years later their son, Ketan, was born into the world, completing their family.

Suresh was well known for being very family orientated, a great friend and an incredible human to everyone he met. He always made time for everyone and took pride in meeting new people and sharing his wisdom. He was blessed with 2 older brothers and 2 younger brothers: Arvind, Bipin, Harish and Kishor, and was very proud to call them his brothers and cherished the special bond they all shared. Suresh had many nieces and nephews which he thought of fondly and always treated them as one of his own.

One of the biggest pleasure Suresh proclaimed was being able to witness both of his children getting married. He could not have chosen a better son-in-law and daughter-in-law himself, Darren and Baneesha married into the family and treated Suresh as their own father. The love and care they gave to Suresh was pure and true.

Suresh was privileged to have had many proud moments in his lifetime, though his proudest was becoming “Papa” to his 2 grandchildren, Jasmine and Kieran. Within the 5 years he passed on so much knowledge and wisdom, along with the memories which will stay with them forever.

To those who had the pleasure of meeting Suresh, knew that in his heyday… he was an avid sports player, partaking in a whole host of sports such as cricket, football, golf, table tennis and volleyball. Being involved in so many sports helped him to build up a great network of family and friends.

Suresh’s unconditional love for everyone who he met was evident as he treated everyone with the greatest appreciation, admiration, and respect. There was never anything that was too much for him and he would always find time when it came to helping others. Suresh left behind the most incredible legacy which many will treasure.

May his soul be at peace just like he will forever be in our hearts.
